A.D. Smith, III has enlarged his body of written work to include novels, stage productions, and screenplays. His first novel, The Assigned, released on January 31, 2013, has been an underground hit enjoyed by over 4,000 people. The Assigned screenplay has placed within the top ten of the Kairos Prize Awards and the Philadelphia Screenplay Contest.
